Jealousy is a bitter beast.
Placid inside it waits to feast
upon my heart, emotions, my peace.
Devouring thoughts it creates assumptions.
Corrupting my mind,
it’s hard to function.
Oh jealousy where is your root?
The place where you started,
the beginning of your fruit?
Remember: love is not jealous. Be love.
